Real Betis Balompié has taken part in a new national advertising campaign launched by Trainline, the club’s official partner and an independent platform for booking train and coach tickets.

The campaign is being rolled out across major national broadcasters in Spain, including Movistar and DAZN, extending Trainline’s visibility beyond digital channels into mainstream television.

The advertising spot features first-team players Marc Bartra, Héctor Bellerín, Sergi Altimira and Aitor Ruibal. The players appear in a light, narrative-driven format designed to reflect different traveller profiles, aligning with Trainline’s positioning around price, comfort and speed.

Local Relevance

According to data cited by Trainline, the partnership with Real Betis—supported by campaigns such as this one and ongoing shirt sponsorship visibility—has delivered a measured increase of 18 percentage points in brand recognition in the city of Seville.

Although distributed nationally, the campaign leverages Real Betis’ strong local identity and player recognition to anchor Trainline’s messaging in Andalusia, one of the club’s core markets. This reflects a broader trend in sponsorship strategy, where national brands use football clubs to achieve regional penetration alongside countrywide exposure.
