Mercury/13 has announced a new sponsorship model in partnership with WeAre8 and F.C. Como Women, set to launch in January 2025. This innovative agreement marks a significant step forward for women’s football, focusing on transforming social entertainment and creating sustainable economic opportunities for the sport.
The collaboration will see WeAre8, a fast-growing social media platform, become the title sponsor of F.C. Como Women in Serie A Femminile. The sponsorship agreement includes an innovative initiative where 5% of advertisements published on WeAre8 by Italian companies will directly support the club. This makes WeAre8 one of the first non-Italian main sponsors in the league’s history.
