Visa has signed a regional partnership with LALIGA, becoming the Spanish football competition’s Official Payment Partner in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The agreement will cover marketing campaigns, digital content and fan activations across the region, combining LALIGA’s football audience with Visa’s payments business.
MENA Remains a Commercial Market for LALIGA LALIGA
The agreement adds another regional partner to LALIGA’s commercial activities in the Middle East and North Africa.
The league has positioned the partnership as part of its strategy to increase engagement with supporters in the region through locally focused commercial agreements.
Visa, meanwhile, gains access to a major European football property without taking global rights, allowing the company to concentrate its sponsorship activity on the MENA market.
