RCD Espanyol has concluded its VOTA REBEL campaign, allowing supporters to vote on the club's home shirt for the 2027/28 season. The winning design will be revealed in July 2027, following a fan engagement initiative supported by an outdoor advertising campaign across Barcelona.
Launched to coincide with the club's 126th anniversary, VOTA REBEL presented supporters with three alternative designs inspired by Espanyol's history and traditional blue-and-white identity.
The options drew on different elements of the club's heritage, including its pioneering women's team, historic shirts and contemporary interpretations of its identity.
The voting process has now closed, with Espanyol confirming that the selected design will be unveiled in July 2027, ahead of the 2027/28 season.
Espanyol Brings Fan Voting Campaign Across Barcelona RCD
Beyond the digital voting initiative, Espanyol extended the campaign into public spaces across Barcelona through a series of outdoor advertising placements.
The activation featured advertisements on city buses, metro screens, Rodalies commuter railway stations and outdoor posters, bringing the club's blue-and-white branding into the city's transport network and streets.
The campaign also reached supporters at the club's Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque training complex, where Espanyol's mascots promoted the initiative during a women's first-team match.
The activity formed part of Rebels d'Arrel, the club's wider identity platform, which draws on Espanyol's history and its relationship with successive generations of supporters.
