Borussia Dortmund and European industrial real estate developer Panattoni have agreed a three-year extension of their commercial partnership, with the company upgrading its status from Advertising Partner to Partner of the Bundesliga club.
The agreement, announced on November 5, 2026, follows two seasons of direct cooperation through Borussia Dortmund's BVB Business Network, which connects corporate partners and businesses associated with the club.
Under the renewed arrangement, Panattoni will receive increased visibility across Borussia Dortmund's platforms and expand its involvement in marketing, communications and business networking activities.
Panattoni Upgrades Partnership Status at Borussia Dortmund Borussia
Panattoni joined Borussia Dortmund's commercial partner network in August 2024, becoming an Advertising Partner and member of the BVB Business Network.
The new three-year contract represents an expansion of that arrangement, moving Panattoni into the club's Partner category.
The company has used its association with Borussia Dortmund to develop business relationships and strengthen its presence in Germany and the wider DACH region, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The expanded agreement will provide additional opportunities for engagement with the club's corporate network and supporter base.
"After two successful years working directly with BVB, we are very pleased to commit for another three years and to strengthen our position as a Partner," said Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and Co-Owner of Panattoni.
Partnership Originated With Łukasz Piszczek's Academy in Poland
The relationship between Panattoni and Borussia Dortmund dates back to 2018, when the property developer began supporting the football academy established by former BVB defender Lukasz Piszczek in Goczałkowice-Zdrój, Poland.
The academy, now known as BVB Academy Lukasz Piszczek, provides football training for children and young players, supported by infrastructure and resources funded in part by Panattoni.
Its facilities include the Panattoni Arena, reflecting the company's longstanding involvement in the project.
The relationship subsequently developed into a direct commercial agreement with Borussia Dortmund in 2024, extending the connection from youth football development in Poland to the club's international business network.
