Inter Miami CF has signed a multi-year agreement with American Airlines, naming the carrier the club’s first Official Airline Partner and a Founding Partner of Nu Stadium and Miami Freedom Park.

The agreement gives American naming rights to the West Club at Nu Stadium, which will become the American Lounge. The premium hospitality area will span the entire West Stand and include more than 1,800 seats.

American also becomes an Official Partner of Inter Miami. The agreement includes international rights, integration with the airline’s AAdvantage® loyalty programme, travel and hospitality experiences, content and community activations.

American Takes Naming Rights to 1,800-Seat West Club American

The stadium component is one of the largest assets included in the agreement.

American will become the entitlement partner of Nu Stadium’s West Club, creating the American Lounge across the entire West Stand. The space will contain more than 1,800 seats and operate as a premium hospitality area at Inter Miami’s new stadium.

American’s rights extend beyond the lounge. The airline joins the founding partner group for both Nu Stadium and the wider Miami Freedom Park development. The club said the partnership also includes international rights but did not provide further details on their scope.

AAdvantage® Becomes Fan Activation Platform

American will connect the sponsorship with its existing loyalty business through AAdvantage®.

A new programme called Inter Miami CF Perks will provide AAdvantage members with access to selected club experiences.

Announced benefits include pitchside access during the second half of selected matches, travel packages combining flights to Miami, accommodation and American Lounge access, and away-match travel experiences.

Members will also be able to redeem AAdvantage® miles for selected Inter Miami matches and experiences.

The loyalty integration creates a direct consumer component within the sponsorship, connecting American’s existing customer base with Inter Miami inventory.

Miami Hub Links Airline Network With Club’s International Rights

American operates one of its largest hubs at Miami International Airport, giving the partnership a direct connection to the club’s home market.

The airline leverages Miami as a major international gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean and says it serves more destinations across those regions than any other US airline.

Inter Miami and American have also included international rights within the agreement, providing a framework for activations beyond South Florida.

Content and Community Rights Included

American will also feature in Inter Miami content, including a travel-focused series covering journeys and experiences around the club during the season.

The partners plan community initiatives during the year and an annual American Theme Night. The first is scheduled for October 14.

These elements sit alongside the principal commercial assets: airline category rights, stadium founding partner status, hospitality naming rights and AAdvantage® activation.
