Inter Miami CF has announced a new five-year partnership extension with adidas, reinforcing one of the club’s foundational commercial relationships as it prepares for the opening of its new home at Miami Freedom Park.

The agreement positions Inter Miami among adidas’ top-tier global club partnerships and reflects the club’s broader ambition to operate as a global football and lifestyle brand, supported by strong retail performance and growing international visibility.

Partnership Expansion Linked to New Stadium Development Inter Miami CF

A central element of the renewed agreement is adidas’ integration within Inter Miami’s new stadium environment.

At Nu Stadium, adidas will play a key role in the club’s flagship retail operation, with a dedicated presence inside the Inter Miami CF Official Store. The two-level retail space, covering more than 11,000 square feet, is set to become the largest club store in Major League Soccer.

Within this space, adidas will operate a “shop-in-shop” concept across both floors, creating a branded retail environment designed to combine product distribution with experiential elements.

Retail Performance Reinforces Commercial Value of the Partnership

The extension builds on strong commercial results generated through the collaboration to date.

Inter Miami’s adidas kit has become the top-selling jersey in MLS and ranks among the best-selling football shirts globally, highlighting the club’s growing influence in international merchandise markets.

The success of the club’s retail operations is closely tied to its broader brand positioning, where sport, fashion, and cultural identity intersect. The partnership with adidas has played a central role in shaping that positioning, particularly through product design and global distribution.

Multi-Platform Activation Across Stadium, Digital and Community

Beyond retail, the agreement includes brand integration across several additional touchpoints.

adidas will have visibility within the stadium, presence across Inter Miami’s digital platforms, and involvement in preseason tours. The brand will also be connected to sports facilities within the Miami Freedom Park district, extending its reach into community and grassroots environments.

This multi-layered structure allows the partnership to operate across matchday, retail, digital, and local engagement channels, increasing both frequency and depth of brand exposure.

Inter Miami’s Positioning as a Global Sports Property

The renewed partnership comes at a time when Inter Miami is entering a new phase of development, defined by infrastructure investment and expanding global relevance.

The opening of Miami Freedom Park represents a significant milestone, providing the club with a platform to scale its commercial operations, including retail, sponsorship and fan experience.

The alignment with adidas, one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, reinforces Inter Miami’s positioning within the global football landscape and supports its ambition to compete not only on the pitch but also as a commercial entity.

Xavier Asensi, President of Business Operations at Inter Miami CF, emphasised the shared vision behind the partnership:
