Inter Miami CF has developed its own platform - Heron Sports & Entertainment (Heron S&E), reinforcing its strategy to position the club as a multi-venue operator within the global sports and entertainment industry.
The initiative formalises the club’s role not only as a football organisation but also as a promoter and producer of large-scale events across multiple venues in South Florida and beyond.
As Inter Miami continues its rapid commercial growth, the development of Heron S&E highlights a broader ambition: building an integrated entertainment ecosystem around club-owned infrastructure.
From Football Club to Event Platform Operator Inter Miami CF
Heron Sports & Entertainment will act as the central entity responsible for organising, promoting and delivering events across Inter Miami’s key assets, including Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park, Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale and the Florida Blue Training Center.
This structure allows the club to control programming across multiple venues, combining football operations with concerts, international matches and other live entertainment formats.
The model reflects a shift seen among leading sports organisations, where venue ownership is leveraged to generate year-round activity rather than being limited to matchdays.
Leveraging Infrastructure Across Multiple Venues
Inter Miami’s positioning is strengthened by its control of two major stadium campuses in South Florida, a differentiator in a fragmented events market.
By coordinating scheduling and programming across these venues, the club can maximise utilisation, diversify event formats, and attract global content.
This multi-venue strategy also increases flexibility, allowing different types of events to be hosted simultaneously or in sequence, depending on scale and audience.
The addition of Miami Freedom Park further expands this capacity, creating a central hub for both football and entertainment.
Track Record of Global Event Delivery
The expansion of Heron S&E builds on a growing portfolio of events already associated with the club’s infrastructure.
Over recent years, Inter Miami has hosted:
• international club friendlies and tournaments
• national team training camps and matches
• youth competitions and development events
• celebrity and exhibition matches
The club has also supported global initiatives involving major teams and organisations, positioning itself as a credible operator within the international events landscape.
Xavier Asensi, President of Business Operations at Inter Miami CF, described the expansion as a natural next step in the club’s development:
“Heron Sports and Entertainment is another investment by ownership to bring the best entertainment across the world. We’ve already hosted some of the most iconic teams and events, and now we are expanding that ambition into concerts and other forms of entertainment.”
