Inter Miami CF has entered into a partnership with Shift4, appointing the company as the Official Payment Processing Partner of Nu Stadium. The agreement covers ticketing and concessions across the venue, embedding Shift4’s technology into the club’s matchday operations.

The deal follows the recent opening of Nu Stadium, a 26,700-seat venue positioned as a central asset in the club’s commercial strategy.

Payment Infrastructure Integrated Across Stadium Operations

Shift4 will power transactions throughout the stadium environment, including high-traffic areas such as Grab & Go retail points. The system is designed to support high transaction volume with minimal latency, directly influencing throughput during peak periods.

In modern venue operations, payment processing sits alongside ticketing and retail as a core revenue driver. Execution at this level directly impacts per-capita spend and overall matchday performance.

Nu Stadium as a Revenue-Optimised Environment Inter Miami

The launch of a new stadium provides Inter Miami with full control over its operational stack. Integrating payment infrastructure at this stage allows the club to align technology with commercial objectives from the outset. Transaction speed, queue management and conversion rates are closely linked. Small gains across these areas translate into measurable revenue over the course of a season.

Executive Comments

Euan Warren, Vice President of Partnerships at Inter Miami CF, emphasised the importance of consistency across the stadium experience, speaking via the club’s official website:

“It’s important that every aspect of the fan journey reflects the world-class experience we aim to provide at Nu Stadium.”

Dustin Alpert, Head of Sports & Entertainment at Shift4, highlighted the operational scope of the agreement, also speaking via Inter Miami’s official website:

“Our technology ensures a frictionless experience for both ticketing and concessions purchases.”
