Arsenal Women will make Emirates Stadium their full-time home for all 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) matches, marking a significant shift in venue strategy and infrastructure commitment for one of Europe’s most commercially progressive women’s football clubs.

The move follows a season of record attendance numbers, highlighted by a league-best average of 34,110 fans per game in 2024/25, including a record 56,748 turnout for February’s 5-0 victory over rivals Tottenham Hotspur. The decision also reflects broader changes in the women’s game, as elite clubs begin to consolidate matchday operations and expand commercial offerings in line with demand.

While Emirates Stadium has hosted a growing number of women’s matches in recent seasons, 2025/26 will mark the first time all WSL home fixtures will be played exclusively at the 60,000-capacity venue. In parallel, Meadow Park (Mangata Pay UK Stadium) in Borehamwood will continue to host UWCL group stage and domestic cup fixtures.

“Today’s announcement is another bold step forward,” said Richard Garlick, Arsenal’s Managing Director.“It’s an opportunity to create a special home for our team and allow more opportunities for our community and a new generation of supporters to watch the European champions.”

Arsenal’s women’s team won the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2024/25, a triumph that has significantly elevated their visibility and marketability, both in the UK and internationally.

Commercial Model Expansion: Season Tickets and Bundles

With the full-time move comes the introduction of a dedicated Emirates Stadium season ticket for the women’s team — a first for the club. This enables Arsenal to offer clearer inventory, better pricing models, and more scalable revenue opportunities tied to predictable matchday demand.

A Six Game Bundle will also be available to fans who prefer flexibility, giving access to select high-demand fixtures at a discounted rate. Fixture selections will be finalized after the WSL schedule is released this summer.

These models mirror ticketing strategies already successful in the men’s game and reflect an important evolution in how women’s football is structured commercially.

A Stadium Strategy Aligned With Momentum

Arsenal Women have sold over 415,000 matchday tickets in 2024/25 — up 20% year-on-year — despite splitting fixtures between Emirates and Meadow Park. The shift to full-time Emirates use is a data-driven decision: it aligns with clear indicators of fan interest, stadium capacity efficiency, and commercial upside.

“Our players and staff know what it means to walk out in front of a packed Emirates Stadium,” said Clare Wheatley, Director of Women’s Football.“It brings a sense of pride and belonging to all of us. It fuels a relentless drive to win and is a crucial part of how we create the best conditions for our women’s team to succeed.”
Head Coach Renée Slegers added: “Bringing every WSL match to the Emirates is another step for more supporters to be part of this special journey.”
