West Ham United have officially revealed their 2025/26 Third Kit, placing the Club’s iconic crossed hammers at the heart of its design—marking the first time in 40 years that the crest has been replaced by the standalone symbol.

A Tribute to Thames Ironworks Roots West Ham Third Kit

Designed in Oxford Navy Blue with a gold trim, the kit draws inspiration from the Club’s earliest days as Thames Ironworks in the late 1800s. The choice of color pays homage to the original jerseys, while the gold detailing reflects the craftsmanship and pride embedded in the Club’s East End heritage.

In a bold move, the traditional Club crest is omitted, with the oversized gold hammers standing alone on the shirt's chest—a decision not seen since 1985.

“With the Hammers also stitched into the shirt’s fabric, the Club’s icon takes the limelight on a striking Third Kit,” West Ham’s launch statement reads.

From Pitch to Culture: A Fashion House Aesthetic

The launch campaign is produced in collaboration with Footballer Fits, a London-based platform known for blending fashion and football culture. Footballer Fits reaches over 25 million people monthly, making it a powerful partner to support the kit's broader identity as both a sporting item and fashion statement.

The campaign film features Jarrod Bowen, Jean-Clair Todibo, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Freddie Potts, and women’s team stars Verena Hanshaw and Princess Ademiluyi. Central to the visuals is a monumental sculpture of the Hammers—an emblem of the Club’s grit, unity, and legacy.

“Partnering with West Ham was an immense privilege, particularly considering the club's rich heritage,” said Omarr Belhaj-Fahsi, Editorial Lead at Footballer Fits.“It serves as a reminder that people want personality and expression in football. The creative licence the Club afforded us... is testament to their willingness to experiment and support our mission for greater athlete self-expression.”
