Red Bull Bragantino has officially entered the next phase of its stadium redevelopment strategy, following the completion of the demolition of the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium and the public presentation of the new Arena Red Bull – Nabi Abi Chedid project.
The club presented the arena concept on 16 December at Casa Red Bull Bragantino, a newly launched community hub that has already begun operating as a central touchpoint for supporters. In recent days, Bragantino has intensified public communication around both projects through official channels, signalling a transition from planning to execution.
Demolition Completed, Construction Phase Underway
According to reporting by ge.globo, the demolition of the existing Nabi Abi Chedid structure has now been fully completed. Following the teardown of the stands, construction works have moved into the removal of old foundations, with earthworks and the foundations for the new arena set to follow.
This milestone marks the formal end of Bragantino’s former stadium and clears the site for the next stage of development. From an infrastructure standpoint, completing demolition early reduces structural risk and allows the club to maintain tighter control over sequencing and long-term timelines.

Arena Red Bull: Design, Capacity and Experience Model
The new Arena Red Bull will be built on the same site and is planned with a capacity of approximately 20,000 spectators, positioning it as a compact, atmosphere-driven venue rather than a large municipal stadium.
As confirmed by the club and reported by ge.globo, the arena will feature a natural grass pitch, fully covered stands, underground parking and hospitality areas including VIP seating and private boxes. The design will combine seated areas with sections where supporters can stand close to the pitch, prioritising proximity, acoustics and flexibility.
Club representatives have framed the arena as a venue designed to accommodate different fan profiles, from supporters seeking a traditional standing experience to audiences prioritising comfort and premium services. Rooftop elements and multi-level hospitality are also part of the concept under evaluation.
Long-Term Timeline Reflects Controlled Investment Strategy
The arena is expected to be completed within a four- to five-year timeframe, underscoring a long-term, phased development approach rather than an accelerated build.
This timeline aligns with Red Bull Bragantino’s broader operating model, which emphasises sustainability, infrastructure quality and long-term asset value over short-term capacity expansion. The project reflects a deliberate shift toward right-sized stadium development in Brazilian football.

Casa Red Bull Bragantino as Interim and Permanent Asset
The presentation of the arena at Casa Red Bull Bragantino was not incidental. The club has positioned the venue as both a temporary focal point during construction and a permanent part of its fan engagement strategy.
Casa Red Bull Bragantino operates as an official meeting point for supporters, combining live screenings of away matches, food and beverage offerings, retail, membership services, interactive zones and Red Bull-branded experiences. Unlike temporary fan zones, the venue is designed to operate year-round, reinforcing the club’s presence in the daily life of the local community.
Early Commercial Activation and Fan Data Strategy
Alongside the infrastructure announcement, Bragantino has already launched a dedicated landing page allowing supporters to register interest for priority access to future seating, hospitality packages and exclusive experiences at the new arena.
This early activation model allows the club to build a qualified database, test demand for premium products and reduce commercial ramp-up risk ahead of the stadium’s opening. Such strategies are increasingly common in modern stadium projects seeking to align construction timelines with commercial readiness.
