Olympique de Marseille has signed a partnership with Chiliz Group to launch an official OM Fan Token, adding the French club to a digital-asset network that includes more than 60 sports teams worldwide.

Under the agreement, Chiliz becomes Marseille’s Official Partner for Fan Token digital assets, while supporters will gain access to a digital engagement programme combining token ownership with club experiences, rewards and participation opportunities.

The partnership extends OM’s digital fan-engagement strategy through an established sports blockchain ecosystem, with the club positioning the product primarily around supporter interaction and access.

OM Joins Chiliz Fan Token Network Marseille

The launch brings Marseille into Chiliz’s Fan Token ecosystem, which has developed partnerships across international football and other sports.

For OM, the product creates another digital channel through which supporters can interact with the club beyond matchdays.

Planned benefits include opportunities to access the pitch at the CEPAC Vélodrome, visit the club’s training centre alongside former players, take part in virtual meetings with players and participate in club-related votes.

According to the announcement, French Fan Token holders have so far received almost 4,000 rewards and experiences from participating teams.

Chiliz Expands French Football Presence

The deal also adds another major French football property to Chiliz's international portfolio.

Chiliz has built its sports proposition around blockchain infrastructure and Fan Tokens, providing clubs with digital products designed to connect supporter participation with rewards and experiences.

Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Chiliz Group, said:

“Olympique de Marseille supporters are known around the world for their passion and enthusiasm. They will soon have a new way to experience and express their passion for their club, on and off the pitch.”

Alban Juster, Managing Director of Olympique de Marseille, said the arrival of Chiliz represents another step in the development of the club's digital activities.

“This partnership will allow us to offer our supporters new ways to interact with the club and the players, while drawing on the expertise of an organisation already widely established in international sport.”
