New York City FC has added a new sponsorship asset to its commercial inventory, signing Viamericas as the first brand to appear on the back of the club’s men’s first-team training kit.
The international money transfer company has also been named NYCFC’s Official International Money Transfer & Remittance Partner, giving it matchday and fan engagement rights alongside the training wear position.
The agreement comes less than a year before the planned opening of Etihad Park, NYCFC’s new purpose-built stadium in Queens, as the club continues to develop its commercial portfolio around a permanent home.
A New Sponsorship Asset for NYCFC New York
Viamericas’ branding on the back of the training shirt creates a new piece of inventory within NYCFC’s partnership programme. Training apparel has become increasingly valuable to football clubs as training-ground footage, player arrivals, social media content and behind-the-scenes coverage generate exposure throughout the week, including periods between competitive matches.
The agreement will also give Viamericas visibility around NYCFC matchdays and opportunities to engage directly with supporters.
Remittances Meet One of Football’s Most Diverse Markets
NYCFC has positioned the demographic profile of its home city at the centre of the partnership.
New York’s communities maintain extensive family, cultural and financial connections across international markets, while football provides a common point of engagement across many of those groups.
Viamericas plans to leverage the sponsorship to introduce its services to more supporters and build awareness among communities regularly using cross-border payments.

New York City FC is proud to represent one of the most diverse cities in the world, and this partnership reflects the global character of both our Club and supporters. Joseph Argilagos, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Viamericas, added:
“We’re proud to support the growth of the game that means so much to us and many of the communities we serve.
