Angel City Football Club (ACFC) has announced the addition of four new investors to its ownership group: NBA All-Star Chris Paul, Horizons Ventures co-founder Solina Chau, organizational development consultant Ina Coleman, and entrepreneur and film producer Paul Bernon. The move broadens an already diverse ownership structure at one of the most commercially successful clubs in women’s football.

Investor Profiles Chris Paul Angel City

  • Chris Paul, a 12-time NBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist, highlighted the opportunity to support women’s sports and contribute to social impact initiatives.

  • Solina Chau, co-founder of Horizons Ventures, brings experience in global innovation and philanthropy, with a focus on equality and community development.

  • Ina Coleman, an advisor on organizational development and inclusion, underlined the importance of representation and equity in sport and society.

  • Paul Bernon, Managing Partner of PMB Ventures and a Peabody Award-winning producer, is also a founding investor in the Angel City Impact Fund.

Club Vision and Strategy

ACFC Controlling Owner Willow Bay said the four new investors reflect the club’s commitment to blending sport, business, and social impact.

“Their outstanding leadership across business, sport, advocacy, and social impact makes them ideal partners as we continue building a world-class club that is forward-thinking, inclusive, and ambitious.”

Commercial Growth

Since its founding, Angel City FC has positioned itself as a model for women’s professional sport, combining competitive ambitions with a social mission. According to reports, the club generated approximately $35 million in revenue in 2024 and reached a valuation of around $280 million, the highest in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The team also leads the league in attendance, engagement, and commercial partnerships.

Broader Ownership Network

The four new investors join a high-profile group of more than 100 stakeholders that includes actors Natalie Portman, Jennifer Garner, America Ferrera, Uzo Aduba, and Eva Longoria; tennis pioneers Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss; musicians Christina Aguilera and Becky G; and football legends Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, Julie Foudy, and Cobi Jones. The network also includes executives, athletes, and cultural leaders committed to equity and innovation in sport.
