Manchester City has confirmed that the first phase of its club-branded residential project in Abu Dhabi, developed in partnership with UAE-based real estate company Ohana Development, has sold out.
The development, named Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana, was originally announced in January 2026 as a large-scale waterfront project located along the Yas Canal.
The update marks the first commercial milestone for the project, which represents an extension of Manchester City’s brand into the residential real estate sector.
Club-Branded Residential Concept Manchester City
The project is positioned as a club-branded residential destination, integrating Manchester City’s identity into a gated community environment. Ohana Development, which is responsible for the design and construction, specialises in translating global brands into high-end residential concepts, embedding branding elements into architecture, amenities and lifestyle positioning.
The Yas Residences project is planned to cover approximately 1.67 million square metres, with additional phases expected to follow.

First Phase Sold Out
According to Manchester City, the initial phase of the development has been fully sold, although specific details regarding the number of units or pricing were not disclosed.
The announcement reflects early demand for the project, which is being developed in one of Abu Dhabi’s key residential and leisure zones. Further phases of the project are expected to be released as construction progresses.
Next Phase of Development
Following the sell-out of the first phase, attention will now shift to the next stages of construction and sales as the project continues to develop along the Yas Canal.
Manchester City and Ohana Development have indicated that further details about future phases will be released in due course, as the project moves forward within Abu Dhabi’s evolving residential and leisure landscape.
