Juventus' Involvement in a Historic Lunar Mission
As part of this partnership, Juventus played a role in Lunar Voyage 1, a landmark mission that successfully landed the first-ever MAPP rover at Mons Mouton, in the lunar South Pole. The mission launched from Cape Canaveral on February 26, 2025, and reached the Moon on March 6, 2025. Although the rover landed in a stationary position, its arrival marks a major milestone in space exploration, demonstrating the feasibility of transporting and positioning technology on the Moon.
Lunar Outpost, along with the scientific community, considers the mission a step forward for future lunar exploration, as it gathers crucial data to inform upcoming missions. Juventus, known for its forward-thinking approach, is now the first football club to be associated with a lunar mission.
