Inter Miami CF has introduced a limited-edition collectibles programme built around original grass from its former home stadium, following the venue’s final use as a matchday site. The initiative marks the transition away from the club’s first stadium and coincides with the conclusion of a competitive cycle that ended with an MLS Cup final.
The release allows supporters to purchase authenticated pitch material associated with key moments in the club’s early history, including its inaugural MLS season, the arrival of Lionel Messi and the club’s first league title.

Stadium Transition as a Commercial Event Inter Miami
The final match played at the stadium was the MLS Cup, providing a clear endpoint for the venue’s sporting role. Rather than retiring the pitch without further use, the playing surface has been segmented and repurposed into a finite series of collectibles.
This approach reflects a broader shift in how clubs manage stadium transitions, treating physical infrastructure as a recoverable asset rather than a sunk operational cost.
Structure of the Collectibles Release
The programme has been released across multiple product formats, ranging from entry-level items such as acrylic keychains containing encapsulated grass to premium presentation boxes featuring larger pitch sections paired with engraved metal tickets.
Each format is produced in limited quantities and offered through a presale structure. Global shipping is scheduled to begin in early 2026, with higher-end editions expected to ship later in the first quarter.
