Inter Miami CF has announced Babbel as its official language learning partner, becoming the first Major League Soccer club to collaborate with the global language-learning provider. The partnership is designed to enhance multilingual communication and improve team dynamics within the diverse organization.
Strategic Fit for a Multicultural Team Inter Miami CF Babbel
Inter Miami CF features players from more than 15 different countries, reflecting the culturally diverse community of South Florida. This linguistic diversity underscores the importance of effective communication within the club’s operations, both on and off the pitch.
Through Babbel's corporate solution, Babbel for Business, Inter Miami CF players and staff will have access to various resources, including the popular Babbel App for self-study and Babbel Live, which offers virtual group language classes led by professional teachers. The partnership will provide over 60,000 lessons and more than 13,000 hours of language-learning content to the club.
Expanding into the MLS Market
While Babbel for Business has previously collaborated with professional sports teams in the United States, including several in Major League Baseball, Inter Miami CF represents Babbel's first venture into MLS, marking a significant expansion for the company into soccer.
Babbel’s approach, combining immersive language instruction with virtual classes, aims to improve overall team cohesion by bridging language gaps within Inter Miami’s international roster and management staff.
