FC Schalke 04 has announced the creation of a new Innovation and Technology Division, signalling a stronger organisational focus on digital transformation, data and artificial intelligence.

The new division will become operational on July 1 and will be led by Nikolas Gross, who previously headed Schalke's Digital & IT department.

By creating a dedicated Innovation and Technology Division, Schalke is elevating technology, data and artificial intelligence within its organisational structure. The new unit will serve as a central hub for innovation projects and future technology development across the club.
