FC Porto has stepped up its engagement with the Polish tourism market, participating in industry events in Poznań and Warsaw as the Portuguese club reports growing interest from Polish visitors in its stadium and museum experience.
The FC Porto Museum represented the club at events held on October 20 and 21, organised by the Poland-Portugal Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Turismo de Portugal. The meetings brought together tourism professionals and operators, providing an opportunity to develop industry contacts and promote Porto as a destination.
The initiative comes as FC Porto's visibility in Poland has increased through the presence of Jan Bednarek, Jakub Kiwior and Oskar Pietuszewski in its first-team squad.
Poland Emerges as Growing Market for FC Porto Museum FC Porto
According to FC Porto, Poland has become a significant source market for its Tour FC Porto – Museum + Stadium experience in recent months.
The attraction combines a visit to the Estádio do Dragão with access to the club's museum, which documents its 133-year history.
FC Porto's participation in the two Polish events provided an opportunity to connect with tourism operators and industry professionals who influence travel offerings and visitor experiences.
Polish Players Increase FC Porto's Visibility
The club's growing relationship with Poland coincides with the arrival of several Polish players over the past year.
Defenders Jan Bednarek and Jakub Kiwior joined FC Porto in the summer of 2025, followed by highly rated winger Oskar Pietuszewski, who arrived from Jagiellonia Białystok in January 2026.
Pietuszewski's transfer, reportedly valued at approximately €10 million, attracted considerable attention in Poland and added another prominent Polish name to Porto's squad.
The three players were part of the team that won the Portuguese league title in 2025/26, further strengthening the club's sporting profile among Polish audiences.
The Polish contingent subsequently expanded with the inclusion of young goalkeeper Hubert Charuży in the first-team registration for the 2026/27 season.
On October 20, Bednarek, Kiwior and Pietuszewski also featured together in Porto's Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven.
FC Porto Builds Connections With Polish Tourism Industry

FC Porto's participation through its museum placed the club within a broader tourism promotion initiative, connecting football-related visitor experiences with the Portuguese travel industry.
