FC Barcelona Signs UAE Banking Partnership With Emirates Islamic Until 2028.

FC Barcelona has signed a new regional partnership with Emirates Islamic, with the UAE-based financial institution becoming the club’s Official Commercial Banking Partner in the United Arab Emirates until June 2028.
The agreement reflects FC Barcelona’s continued focus on regionalised sponsorship strategies, particularly in markets where the club maintains a large and commercially active fan base. According to the club, Barça has approximately 1.7 million supporters in the UAE, representing more than 20% of the country’s population.
Financial Products Become Part of Football Fan Engagement Strategies FC Barcelona
As part of the partnership, Emirates Islamic will launch the Emirates Islamic Barça Cashback Card, a co-branded financial product combining consumer banking services with football-related benefits and loyalty incentives.
The cashback card will offer up to four percent cashback across categories including sports, fuel, supermarkets and dining, while also integrating FC Barcelona-related rewards such as match tickets and official merchandise.

Mohammed Kamran Wajid, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Emirates Islamic, described the partnership as part of the bank’s strategy to expand experience-driven banking products connected to lifestyle and entertainment.

Marc Bruix, Global Partnerships Director at FC Barcelona, highlighted the club’s objective of integrating supporters into the club ecosystem through everyday consumer experiences.
