FC Barcelona has launched Barça Play, a new audiovisual platform integrated into the club's official website and mobile application, marking another step in its long-term digital transformation strategy.

More than a standalone streaming service, Barça Play has been designed as the centrepiece of a broader digital ecosystem that brings together content, member services and future commercial offerings within a single platform.

One Platform for Content, Membership and Services FC Barcelona

Barça Play combines FC Barcelona's audiovisual library with live programming and original productions inside a unified digital environment.

Members will have access to:

  • Historic matches and archive footage

  • Original documentaries and series

  • Exclusive Inside Barça content

  • Interviews and behind-the-scenes programming

  • Live pre-season matches

  • Barça Atlètic fixtures

  • Barça Legends matches

  • Selected La Masia matches every weekend

The platform also introduces TOP BARÇA, a 24-hour linear channel offering continuous programming built around classic matches, documentaries, goals and archive content.

Digital Ecosystem Continues to Expand

The launch forms part of a broader digital roadmap extending beyond media content.

FC Barcelona confirmed that future phases will integrate ticketing services and e-commerce into the same platform, allowing supporters to consume content, purchase tickets and access club services through a single digital environment.

The first phase of Barça Play prioritises club members, who will receive free access to the platform and its live broadcasts.

According to FC Barcelona, the official club application currently attracts more than 800,000 weekly unique users, representing 30% year-on-year growth. The club plans to extend access to Culers Premium subscribers and the wider supporter base as the platform develops.

Executive Comments

FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta introduced the platform during an immersive launch event attended by club members, describing it as another milestone in the club's digital transformation.

Paloma Mikadze, Director of Barça Identity & Barça Media 360, said Barça Play had been designed as more than another content platform.

"We wanted to build FC Barcelona's new audiovisual hub, fully integrated into the website and official App so that members and fans can find and experience everything Barça in one place."

She added that the project forms part of the club's long-term strategy to strengthen its own digital channels while adapting to changing consumption habits.
