Chelsea FC has released its official Fan Engagement Plan 2025/26, outlining a wide range of initiatives designed to strengthen dialogue between the club and its supporters. The document details mechanisms for fan consultation at board level, operational improvements to supporter services, and new engagement activities across the season.

Governance and Board-Level Engagement

Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE continues as the club’s nominated board-level official, providing oversight and acting as a conduit between supporters and the Chelsea FC board. The Fan Advisory Board (FAB), co-chaired by Tracy Brown and Neil Beard, remains central to the strategy, with expanded responsibilities for strategic consultation on issues such as ticketing, heritage assets, and matchday operations.

Supporter Relations and Services Chelsea Fan Engagement

The Supporter Relations Department, led by Head of Supporter Relations Michael Cornall, has been tasked with delivering consistent communication channels, including liaison officers for matchday experience, disability access, and community relations. A dedicated Supporter Services team, under Senior Manager Meg Clarkson, will continue to oversee complaints, sanctions, and day-to-day supporter interactions.

Engagement Mechanisms

The plan introduces regular meetings with stakeholder groups such as the Chelsea Supporters Trust and local residents’ forums. It also outlines the continuation of themed Town Halls, the Chelsea Fans’ Forum, and specific working groups covering digital ticketing, loyalty, and heritage assets. These consultations are designed to provide structured opportunities for fans to contribute to club decision-making.

Key Priorities for 2025/26

Among the new season’s priorities are:

  • Strengthening feedback loops via the Atmosphere Committee and Pride in Our Bridge Group.

  • Expanding communication channels to ensure wider representation of supporter views.

  • Maintaining consultations on heritage assets, including stadium naming, club crest, and match locations.

  • Continuing collaboration with the Chelsea Disabled Supporters Association and youth-focused fan groups.

Strategic Outlook

Chelsea positions the 2025/26 Fan Engagement Plan as a tool to balance its commercial ambitions with the need for transparent governance and supporter inclusion. By formalising multiple touchpoints — from board-level representation to grassroots fan forums — the club aims to reinforce its long-term goal of being “the most admired club in the world, on and off the pitch”.
