Canva has entered professional football sponsorship for the first time, signing Como 1907 as its Official Creative Partner for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement will give supporters access to hundreds of official Como 1907 templates that can be customised through Canva, printed directly through the platform and delivered to fans. A permanent Canva Print Shop will also open inside the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, bringing the same personalisation concept into the club's matchday hospitality operation.
According to Canva, the agreement is its first partnership of this kind with a football club anywhere in the world, giving Como another technology-focused partner as the club continues to develop its commercial and brand strategy.
Hundreds of Como Templates Coming to Canva Canva
The first supporter-facing elements will launch on 13 September, beginning with Como's first home match of the season.
Fans will be able to access hundreds of officially licensed templates through Canva and customise designs themselves. Finished products can then be ordered through Canva's printing infrastructure and delivered directly to customers.
The model gives Como an additional digital touchpoint with supporters outside Italy, particularly those unable to visit the club's physical retail locations or attend matches at the Sinigaglia.
It also introduces an element of personalisation into licensed club merchandise, allowing supporters to participate directly in the design process within a controlled collection of official assets.
Canva Print Shop Comes to the Sinigaglia
The physical component of the partnership will sit inside Como's stadium. A permanent Canva Print Shop will allow hospitality guests to design and personalise exclusive products before and during matches, connecting Canva's core product with a live football environment.
That gives the sponsorship a practical role within the matchday experience. Canva's technology will be available for supporters to use directly, with personalised products created on site.
From Software Partnership to Fan Product
The structure of the agreement is notable because Canva is not entering the club solely as a technology supplier.
Its platform becomes part of the supporter proposition itself: fans create designs, Canva handles the creative tools and printing process, and Como supplies the licensed football identity.
The online and stadium components also address two different audiences. International supporters can participate digitally, while hospitality guests receive an in-person version of the experience in Como.
