Atlético Madrid has announced a new all-time record in season ticket subscriptions, reaching 60,905 holders ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. This figure surpasses the club’s previous benchmark of 60,874 general seating subscriptions, making it the highest number of season ticket holders in the club’s history.

The increase reflects the club’s growing domestic fan engagement, sustained loyalty, and the strong renewal rate from existing subscribers. According to the official release, 98% of last season’s season ticket holders renewed, with remaining seats made available to waitlisted members.

Despite the milestone, demand has once again exceeded supply. The club has confirmed that while all available general seats for full-season subscriptions are now taken, the season ticket waiting list remains active. This list will serve as the basis for any mid-season openings or potential seat expansions in future seasons.

Atlético’s VIP season ticket packages—including individual VIP seats, private boxes, and suites—remain available through September, catering to both corporate clients and high-end individual buyers.

The club will continue to allocate the remainder of its Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium capacity to single-match ticketing, prioritizing access for members, fan clubs, and general supporters.

Commercial Implications and Fan Loyalty Atlético Madrid Ticket Record

This marks the third consecutive season in which Atlético Madrid has exceeded 60,000 season ticket holders, solidifying its position as one of Spain’s most commercially stable football properties in terms of matchday revenue.

The strong retention rate and continued expansion of the club’s subscription base point to sustained fan interest despite rising competition and macroeconomic pressures in the ticketing market.
