Arsenal has announced an expansion of its partnership with Deel, confirming the global payroll and HR platform as the club’s new Official Sleeve Partner from the 2026/27 season.

The agreement deepens a relationship that began in late 2025, when Deel joined Arsenal as the club’s Official HR Platform Partner. From next season, Deel branding will appear on the left sleeve of Arsenal’s home, away and third kits.

Arsenal and Deel Deepen Operational Relationship Arsenal

According to Arsenal and Deel, the club is expected to expand the use of Deel’s platform across internal workforce and HR operations in the coming months.

That operational integration gives the partnership a different dimension compared to purely visibility-driven sponsorships. Deel’s positioning within the club’s internal systems creates a closer commercial relationship tied directly to organisational infrastructure.

The company currently supports more than 40,000 businesses and 1.5 million workers globally. In 2025, Deel announced a funding round valuing the company at $17.3 billion.

Campaign Activation Built Around Craft and Identity

The sleeve partnership launch was accompanied by a campaign film titled Patchmaker, featuring Patrick Vieira and Viktor Gyökeres.

The creative direction focuses on craftsmanship and attention to detail surrounding the shirt sleeve, positioning the asset itself as part of Arsenal’s broader brand identity.

This reflects how clubs increasingly use storytelling and cinematic content to launch sponsorship assets that historically would have been presented through standard commercial announcements.

Executive Comments

Arsenal Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot linked the agreement to the club’s broader commercial model, speaking via Arsenal’s official website:

“Our iconic kit and sleeve is one of the most visible positions in world football.”

She also connected partnerships directly to sporting sustainability:

“All our partnerships play a direct role in delivering our long-term ambition to win major trophies in a financially sustainable way.”

Deel CEO Alex Bouaziz described the agreement as an extension of the existing relationship, also speaking via Arsenal’s official website:

“Having our name on one of the most iconic shirts in world football is a proud moment for everyone at Deel.”
