Ajax has announced a new partnership agreement with TinQEnergie, which becomes the club’s Official Energy Partner until at least 2028.

TinQEnergie (TinQE) operates under the energy division of ENVIEM, a Dutch family-owned company active across energy supply and mobility services. The partnership is structured to support the market introduction and scaling of the TinQE brand, leveraging Ajax’s global fanbase and extensive business network.

Fan-Facing Benefits and Commercial Integration Ajax

As part of the agreement, Ajax supporters will receive exclusive discounts across TinQE’s products and services. While financial terms were not disclosed, the inclusion of direct consumer benefits indicates a hybrid model combining brand visibility, customer acquisition and loyalty activation.

Such fan-facing incentives are becoming more common in partnerships involving utilities and service providers, where long-term customer relationships are central to commercial value creation.

Executive Comments

Cas Biesta, Commercial Director at Ajax, framed the partnership in the context of TinQE’s transformation:

“We welcome TinQE to our partnership family. It is an ambitious company in transition, which is why they consciously choose to focus this partnership on building awareness of the TinQE label.”

From ENVIEM’s perspective, CEO Erik Aaftink highlighted the strategic role of Ajax in brand scaling:

“The partnership with Ajax will ensure that everyone becomes familiar with the energy offering we provide. From the first conversation, we felt a strong sense of alignment and positive momentum.”
