Ajax Adds Vitakruid as Official Nutrition Supplier Through 2028.

AFC Ajax has entered into a multi-year partnership with Dutch nutrition company Vitakruid, appointing the brand as the club’s Official Nutrition Supplier from January 1, 2026, through at least the 2027/28 season.

The agreement covers the supply of a broad range of nutritional supplements for Ajax’s professional teams, including products developed specifically for the club’s performance requirements.

Nutrition as a Performance Infrastructure Asset Ajax

Under the partnership, Ajax will integrate Vitakruid supplements into its high-performance environment, with all products meeting the NZVT (Nederlands Zekerheidssysteem Voedingssupplementen Topsport) certification standard. The NZVT label is designed to ensure supplements are free from prohibited substances and suitable for elite, doping-controlled sport.

Commercial and Strategic Rationale

Cas Biesta, Commercial Director at Ajax, positioned the partnership within the club’s broader supplier strategy:

Integration Into Daily Performance Operations

According to the club, Vitakruid’s role will extend beyond product supply. The partnership provides Ajax with access to nutritional expertise aligned with the club’s performance philosophy.
