Inter Milan has launched a digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising campaign across Milan's railway stations and airports, using the city's transport infrastructure to promote its first home UEFA Champions League match of the 2026/27 season.

The activation features a series of digital displays designed to welcome supporters arriving from across Italy and international markets, extending the club's matchday presence beyond the stadium and into major transport locations.

Inter Extends Champions League Branding Across Milan Inter

The campaign was introduced ahead of Inter's opening home fixture in this season's Champions League, with digital advertising installations appearing at stations and airports across the city.

The displays feature Nerazzurri-themed creative material, providing a branded welcome for travelling supporters before they reach the stadium.

By leveraging transport hubs, Inter can reach audiences beyond matchgoing fans, including commuters, business travellers and international visitors passing through Milan.

Digital Out-of-Home Advertising Connects Club and City

Digital out-of-home advertising allows sports organisations to distribute campaigns across high-traffic public locations without relying exclusively on stadium infrastructure or social media channels.

Stations and airports are particularly relevant locations because they serve both local audiences and supporters travelling to Milan for matches.

The activation also reinforces the relationship between Inter's brand and Milan, placing the club's visual identity within the urban environment during a major sporting occasion.

Champions League Matchday Provides International Exposure

The campaign coincided with Inter's first home Champions League match of the season against Club Brugge on October 13 at San Siro, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 local time.

The European fixture provides a concentrated opportunity to reach international visitors arriving in Milan, while the advertising also reinforces Inter's presence among local audiences.

The activation forms part of the club's wider matchday communications, which include a planned pre-match light display at San Siro.
