Wrexham AFC has appointed Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd., a Sony Group company, to deliver advanced tracking and video review systems at the STōK Cae Ras for the 2025/26 Championship season. The agreement follows Wrexham’s third consecutive promotion, securing their place in the EFL Championship.
Technology Deployment
Hawk-Eye has installed its SkeleTRACK Electronic Performance and Tracking System (EPTS), utilising 4K tracking cameras to capture ball movement and 29 skeletal points on every player in real-time. The data provides insights into player workload, movement, and injury prevention, offering both live and post-match analysis.
The club will also benefit from Hawk-Eye’s SMART Video Review System (VRS), which integrates multi-angle broadcast and tracking camera feeds. The system can be accessed on portable devices within the stadium, allowing coaches, analysts, medics, and staff to review passages of play, synchronise angles, and export clips for instant sharing.
