Villarreal CF has formalized a collaboration agreement with Yunke, one of Spain’s most renowned illusionists, as part of its ongoing Endavant Cultura programme. The agreement includes a 30% ticket discount for the club’s season-ticket holders to attend Yunke’s internationally acclaimed show HANGAR 52, which will be performed in Castellón from 4 to 27 April at the Palau de la Festa.
While the announcement highlights Yunke’s global prestige, the partnership represents a strategic local engagement initiative, aligning Villarreal CF with cultural programming that reinforces the club’s community identity and regional presence.
Strategic Use of Cultural Engagement in Club Branding
The collaboration forms part of Villarreal CF’s broader strategy to expand its brand beyond the pitch, using arts and culture to create value for both the club and its supporters. The Endavant Cultura programme has become a tool for community-building and fan loyalty, helping Villarreal CF integrate with the province of Castellón's cultural landscape.
This type of cross-sector partnership is increasingly common in professional sports, as clubs seek to engage with audiences outside of traditional matchday experiences, offering added value to season-ticket holders and fans through non-sporting experiences.
Exclusive Offer for Season-Ticket Holders Villarreal Yunke
The practical component of the agreement offers Villarreal CF season-ticket holders a 30% discount on all performances of HANGAR 52. This includes access to Yunke’s latest tour, which features large-scale illusions and high-end special effects. Tickets can be purchased using the code VILLCLUB30, offering fans a tangible benefit tied to their club membership.
The discount is not only an incentive to attend, but also a method of measuring activation success within the partnership, providing a trackable ROI metric for Villarreal CF and Yunke’s production team.
A Longstanding Relationship Between Club and Artist
Yunke has a history of collaborations with Villarreal CF, most notably in 2018 when he famously introduced the return of Santi Cazorla at Estadio de la Cerámica through a live magic performance. This activation drew 4,500 fans and was widely shared on digital channels, showing the power of entertainment-based marketing in driving football fan engagement.
In the following season, Yunke hosted the Endavant Esports gala, again demonstrating Villarreal’s willingness to blend performance arts with sports promotion. Most recently, he was involved in the renewal campaign for youth player Pau Navarro, further showcasing the creative integration of magic and media in contract announcements.
