Sabah FC has sold 104,620 tickets for its four home matches in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League, with sales still ongoing ahead of the fixtures in Baku.

The figure represents an average of approximately 26,155 tickets sold per match across the four-game package. Sabah said demand has exceeded both its initial expectations and projected sales pace.

The Azerbaijani club has also committed 25% of ticketing revenue from the Champions League matches to its youth development programme.

More Than 104,000 Tickets Sold Sabah

The 104,620 figure covers tickets for all four of Sabah’s Champions League league-phase home fixtures in Baku.

Tickets have been structured to give buyers seats in advance for each of the four matches, with the club saying prices were deliberately set at an accessible level to maximise attendance.

Sales remain open, meaning the final total could increase further.

25% of Ticket Revenue Allocated to Academy Development

A quarter of the revenue generated from ticket sales will be directed to the “Sabah Football Academy – Talents of the Future” programme. The club said the money will be invested in youth and grassroots football development.

Champions League Creates New Commercial Inventory

The club is also leveraging its Champions League participation to expand its commercial offering.

Sabah said sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities remain available around the four home fixtures and has invited companies to approach the club about potential agreements.

The league phase gives Sabah four Champions League home dates to commercialise through ticketing and sponsorship, alongside the competition-related revenues associated with participation.

For the club, the early ticketing figure provides a first indication of domestic demand around its Champions League campaign: 104,620 tickets sold across four matches, with sales yet to close and 25% of the resulting ticket revenue earmarked for academy and grassroots development.
