Paris Saint-Germain has launched We Ride Paris, a month-long cycling initiative bringing together football, professional cycling and connected fitness through a 16.4-kilometre challenge open to supporters worldwide.

Running until 13 September 2026, the project is supported by Groupama-FDJ UNITED, FDJ UNITED, WHOOP, Zwift and Wilier Triestina, with participants able to complete the distance virtually on Zwift or record an outdoor ride through another sports application.

PSG Creates a 16.4km Virtual Route Through Paris Paris

At the centre of We Ride Paris is a dedicated 16.4km virtual cycling route on Zwift, designed around the streets and landmarks of the French capital.

Participants ride through a digitally branded Paris environment extending from the Champs-Élysées to Montmartre, using an event-specific avatar outfit and virtual Wilier bicycle.

PSG is also opening the challenge to cyclists without a Zwift account. Participants can complete at least 16.4km outdoors and submit a link to the activity recorded through a sports platform of their choice.

Groupama-FDJ Riders Join Connected Cycling Sessions

Professional cycling forms another component of the programme through the involvement of Groupama-FDJ UNITED. Collective Zwift sessions will give participants opportunities to ride virtually alongside professional cyclists from the team.

Zwift provides the digital venue, Wilier supplies the cycling product element, WHOOP connects the project with wearable technology, while Groupama-FDJ UNITED and FDJ UNITED provide access to professional cycling.

Six Participants Will Ride From Parc des Princes

The programme will conclude with an event at PSG's home stadium.

Six registered participants who successfully complete the 16.4km challenge will be selected through a draw to attend an exclusive event at the Parc des Princes.

From inside the stadium, the winners will participate in a collective Zwift session alongside PSG personalities and professional Groupama-FDJ UNITED riders.

Additional prizes available throughout the campaign include a Zwift Ride smart bike, official We Ride Paris apparel, WHOOP wearables and VIP experiences at professional cycling races through FDJ UNITED.

The final event turns PSG's football stadium into a physical anchor for a campaign largely designed to operate through digital and outdoor participation.

Edgar Plans Designs Limited Cycling Collection

PSG has also introduced an art and product component through Spanish contemporary artist Edgar Plans, who created the visual identity for We Ride Paris.

His designs have been applied to five Wilier Filante SLR ID2 bicycles and five Zwift Ride smart bikes produced specifically for the initiative.
