Paris Saint-Germain has signed a multi-year partnership with Google running through 2029, naming Google Gemini the club's Official AI Assistant and Google Pixel its Official Smartphone.

The agreement brings one of the world's largest technology companies deeper into the club's day-to-day operations while introducing artificial intelligence, mobile technology and new digital experiences across the Paris Saint-Germain ecosystem.

Google Gemini Becomes PSG's Official AI Assistant Google

Under the agreement, Google Gemini will support Paris Saint-Germain's internal teams by helping develop digital content and creative assets across the club.

Google said the partnership will leverage its AI technologies to help the club create more engaging experiences for supporters while improving content production processes.

The agreement positions artificial intelligence not as a standalone marketing campaign but as part of the club's operational infrastructure.

Google Pixel Integrated Into Matchday Content

Google Pixel also joins the partnership as PSG's Official Smartphone. The devices will be used to capture content from matches, training sessions and behind-the-scenes environments, supporting the club's growing digital media strategy.

Clubs are increasingly investing in original content as social platforms become one of the primary channels for supporter engagement. Smartphone technology has become an important production tool alongside traditional broadcast equipment.

AI Arrives at Parc des Princes

The partnership also includes a dedicated Google space at Parc des Princes, where partners, creators and invited guests will be able to experience Google's latest technologies with a particular focus on artificial intelligence.

Beyond stadium activations, Google will work with multiple departments across Paris Saint-Germain to integrate its technologies into the club's wider digital ecosystem.

AI Becomes a New Commercial Category in Football

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming one of football's fastest-growing commercial sectors.

Over the past year, clubs have announced partnerships covering AI assistants, automated content creation, performance analytics and supporter engagement.

Paris Saint-Germain's agreement with Google reflects that broader shift, bringing one of the world's leading AI platforms directly into club operations while expanding Google's commercial presence in professional football.

Executive Comments

Richard Heaselgrave, Chief Revenue Officer of Paris Saint-Germain, said the partnership reflects the club's ambition to work with leading technology companies and explore new ways of creating content for supporters worldwide.

Jean-Philippe Becane, Marketing Director of Google France, said the agreement combines Google's technologies, particularly Gemini and Pixel, with one of Europe's most recognised football brands to create new ways for supporters to connect with the club.
