Manchester City and Highgate International School Thailand have announced the launch of the first Manchester City Football School in Thailand, scheduled to open in August 2026 at Highgate’s new campus in Chonburi.
Partnership Scope
The initiative combines Highgate’s educational model, rooted in over 460 years of academic tradition in the United Kingdom, with Manchester City’s renowned coaching philosophy. Students aged 2 to 18 will follow the English National Curriculum, complemented by a football programme led by a certified Manchester City coach integrated into the school’s sports team and curriculum.
The football school will deliver training based on City’s methodology, focusing on player development, leadership skills, and physical wellbeing, while aligning with Highgate’s mission of academic excellence, character development, and global citizenship.

The partnership reflects a growing trend of elite football clubs collaborating with international schools to extend brand presence and influence into education and youth development. Located near the Siam Country Club, the project positions Manchester City to expand its global football education network, while Highgate strengthens its value proposition through sport as a central element of holistic learning.
