Manchester City and global sportswear brand PUMA have unveiled an innovative AI-driven platform, the PUMA AI Creator, allowing fans to design the club's official Third kit for the 2026/27 season. This groundbreaking initiative combines cutting-edge generative AI technology with fan engagement, offering a historic opportunity for supporters to leave their mark on Manchester City's legacy.


How It Works: PUMA AI Creator Manchester City Puma AI


The PUMA AI Creator platform, powered by the advanced DEEPOBJECTS co-creation technology, enables fans to craft unique designs using intuitive tools. Users can experiment with:


  • • Text prompts to generate creative visuals.

  • • Customization sliders for adjusting patterns and colors.

  • • Interactive design features to add personal touches to the kit.


Fans can submit their entries until 20th December 2024, after which the top ten designs will be shortlisted by PUMA and Manchester City experts. These finalists will then face a public vote in January, where fans will select the winning design to be worn on-pitch by Manchester City players during the 2026/27 season.

Participants receive:


  • • 15 free Design Credits and 2 Entries upon signing up.

  • • Opportunities to earn additional Credits by rating other fan designs or through exclusive perks for

  • • Cityzens members and PUMA NFT holders.


This model ensures widespread accessibility, inviting creativity from fans worldwide, regardless of experience or location.


The First AI-Designed Football Kit


The PUMA AI Creator has already made its debut with Manchester City players Ederson, Stefan Ortega, and Rico Lewis designing a bespoke goalkeeper kit. Inspired by the net of a football goal, this kit will be the first AI-designed football kit to be worn on-pitch later this season. A limited number of these kits will also be available for sale.
