The facility is not only equipped with advanced technology but also operates entirely on renewable energy, powered by 10,001 solar panels, showcasing the club’s dedication to sustainability.

With Liverpool FC’s merchandise currently reaching 180 different countries and the presence of 16 standalone club stores worldwide, the integration with UPS’s global logistics network is expected to bolster LFC’s retail and e-commerce capabilities significantly. This partnership will ensure that fans around the world receive their orders more swiftly, affordably, and efficiently.

Enhancements at Home and Abroad

While the new international centre is poised to enhance global operations, Liverpool FC’s distribution centre on Merseyside will continue to operate at full capacity. This site will not only continue to cater to the UK market but is also slated for technological upgrades and staff training enhancements to maintain its high level of service.

Innovations in Customer Service

The collaboration between LFC Retail and UPS also introduces a new click and collect service for supporters, further enhancing the shopping experience. Mike Cox, Senior Vice-President of Merchandising at LFC, expressed excitement about the centre, noting that it is central to the club's ambitious international growth plans. The facility is designed to complement the existing site in Merseyside, enabling the club to better serve its expanding international customer base.

By leveraging UPS's cutting-edge automated warehousing and transportation technologies, the initiative is set not only to streamline logistics but also to embody the spirit of teamwork and dedication that is crucial both on and off the field.
