LFP Media has announced the launch of Ligue 1+ Pro, a commercial version of its Ligue 1+ streaming platform designed specifically for businesses and public venues.
The new offering will allow bars, restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, cinemas and fan zones to legally broadcast Ligue 1 McDonald's and Ligue 3 matches beginning with the 2026-27 season.
Extending Ligue 1+ Beyond Individual Subscribers Ligue 1+
Ligue 1+ Pro will provide commercial customers with access to the same core content available on the consumer platform, including:
• All 306 Ligue 1 McDonald's matches and promotion/relegation play-offs
• Every Ligue 3 fixture
• Match highlights
• Original documentaries and magazine programming
While the consumer version of Ligue 1+ targets individual subscribers, the professional package is aimed at businesses seeking legal broadcasting rights for public viewing.
Public viewing locations can significantly increase audience reach, particularly for premium fixtures, while also creating additional subscription income independent of traditional broadcasting agreements.
The launch therefore adds another layer to Ligue 1's media rights strategy as the league continues to develop its own distribution ecosystem.
Multi-Platform Distribution
Ligue 1+ Pro will be available through a web application as well as major connected television environments, including:
• Apple tvOS
• Android TV
• LG webOS
• Samsung Tizen
LFP Media said the objective of Ligue 1+ Pro is to provide businesses with a legal and accessible solution for broadcasting French football while helping venues attract customers and create social experiences around live sport.
According to the league, the service is designed to support customer retention, increase venue attractiveness and generate additional business activity linked to football consumption.
