Just Eat, a titan in the global online food delivery market, has recently announced the extension of its partnership with UEFA, underscoring its strong presence across Europe's premier football tournaments. This extended collaboration includes the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League, continuing until 2027. This partnership, one of the most comprehensive in UEFA's history, not only demonstrates Just Eat's commitment to football but also encompasses both men’s and women’s competitions under different contracting cycles.

The Scope of Partnership

This renewed partnership ensures Just Eat remains a key sponsor of Europe's most prestigious football tournaments. Including rights to the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Futsal Champions League, and UEFA Youth League, the agreement encompasses a total of 11 UEFA competitions. Central to this partnership is the shared goal of enhancing the matchday experience by merging the excitement of food delivery with football, creating memorable moments for fans across the globe.

During the 2022-23 season, Just Eat reported significant engagement, with enough pizzas sold on UEFA match days to fill an average sports stadium 200 times, highlighting the UK as the top market for orders. This partnership is poised to continue driving brand visibility for Just Eat through various channels, including in-game perimeter LED boards, media interview backdrops, and exclusive activation opportunities.

Driving Sustainability and Engagement Just Eat UEFA

Beyond brand visibility, the partnership aligns with UEFA’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Initiatives have included the introduction of sustainable seaweed-lined packaging and the first-ever circular packaging initiative during the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in Eindhoven, reducing the use of single-use plastics.

Just Eat's partnership with UEFA also extends to grassroots initiatives, supporting the Together #WePlayStrong programme to promote inclusivity in football and the Champions Innovate programme focused on sustainable innovation.

Global Presence and Local Impact

With operations spanning 20 markets globally and a network of 679,000 partners, Just Eat delivers a vast array of culinary options to millions of customers. From local favourites to fine dining and even groceries, the company ensures a seamless and enjoyable ordering experience.
