Inter Milan and AC Milan have formally announced a collaboration with the architectural firms Foster + Partners and MANICA to design the proposed new Milano stadium. The agreement remains subject to approval of the sale of the Great Urban Function San Siro by the Milano City Council.

Project Scope Inter AC Milan Foster +

If approved, the firms led by Lord Norman Foster and David Manica will oversee the design of a 71,500-seat venue that aims to set new benchmarks for innovation, comfort, and sustainability in European football. The project is part of a broader urban regeneration plan spanning approximately 281,000 square meters, integrating sport with social and cultural development in the San Siro area.

Stadium Features

The new facility is designed with two large tiers, optimized with steep inclines to ensure clear sightlines from all sections. Plans also include advanced accessibility solutions, affordable ticketing options, and dedicated spaces to enhance the matchday experience for all demographics of supporters.

For Inter and AC Milan, the project represents a significant long-term investment in infrastructure, with the aim of creating a modern venue capable of competing with leading stadiums worldwide. The collaboration with Foster + Partners and MANICA underscores the clubs’ commitment to sustainability, technological innovation, and architectural excellence.
