Genius Sports Secures Exclusive Serie A Betting Data and Streaming Rights Through 2029.

Genius Sports has signed an exclusive long-term agreement with Lega Serie A to become the official global distributor of betting data and live streaming rights for all Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana matches through the 2028/29 season.

The deal positions Genius Sports as the sole source of official Serie A betting content, including low-latency live video and real-time data feeds, for sportsbooks operating outside of Italy. It also extends Genius Sports’ strategic foothold in the European football ecosystem, adding to existing partnerships with the Premier League and Ligue 1.

Driving Value Through BetVision and Data Monetization

The content will be integrated into BetVision, Genius Sports’ interactive live betting product, which was initially rolled out with the NFL in the U.S. The platform allows users to watch live matches, interact with in-game statistics, and place bets within a customizable single interface.

By pairing Serie A’s global fanbase with interactive betting features, the partnership aims to monetize match data and streaming more efficiently, while giving sportsbook operators a differentiated product offering.
