Galatasaray SK has officially renewed its sponsorship agreement with PUMA until 2036, extending the partnership between one of Turkey’s most historic football clubs and the German sportswear manufacturer. The deal includes Galatasaray’s official kit sponsorship and represents one of the longest and most valuable contracts in Turkish football history.

Renewal Ceremony

The signing ceremony took place at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex – Rams Park, with the participation of Galatasaray President Dursun Aydın Özbek, Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu, PUMA Türkiye and Middle East CEO Taner Seyis, and PUMA Türkiye Team Sports Director Taylan Akgöz.

The renewed partnership builds on an existing relationship established in 2023 and reinforces the long-term collaboration between the two brands. The agreement is structured to extend over the next decade, making it both a strategic and financial milestone in Turkish sports sponsorship.

Strategic Partnership

According to both parties, the renewed agreement goes beyond kit production, positioning PUMA as a strategic partner in Galatasaray’s long-term growth. The deal includes expanded joint projects in fan engagement, marketing, and youth development, as well as future collaborations across multiple sports within the Galatasaray organization.

PUMA will continue to design and supply matchday kits, training wear, and fan merchandise, incorporating advanced materials and technologies developed at the company’s R&D centers.

Dursun Aydın Özbek, President of Galatasaray, described the renewal as a symbol of stability and ambition:

“This agreement is not only a sponsorship but a strategic partnership that reflects Galatasaray’s history and future. Having a global brand like PUMA by our side strengthens our vision to compete at the highest level in both Turkish and international football.”

Remarks from PUMA Executives

Taner Seyis, CEO of PUMA Türkiye and the Middle East, said the partnership marks a record for both organizations:

“This is the longest and most valuable contract we have ever signed in Turkey. Galatasaray plays a vital role in representing PUMA’s visibility in the region. We are proud to support Turkish sport and look forward to new projects that will enhance this collaboration.”

Taylan Akgöz, Team Sports Director at PUMA Türkiye, highlighted the alignment of values between the two brands:

“This agreement is not just about kits — it’s about a shared vision and mutual trust. Over the next decade, we will continue to develop initiatives that connect directly with Galatasaray fans and strengthen the bond between our two communities.”

According to Turkish journalist Burhan Canterzi, the deal has been valued at €83 million, including €14.5 million in performance bonuses, under a 5+5-year structure.
