According to Yahoo! Sports via OneFootball, French content creator Zack Nani has secured the rights to broadcast select Saudi Pro League matches in France on his YouTube and Twitch channels. The deal allows Nani to show up to three games per week, beginning 19 August 2025, with the obligation to air at least one fixture per matchday.

In an interview with L’Équipe, Nani explained that the rights were acquired personally, rather than through external investors or a third-party company. The agreement covers one full season, with an option for a second, and represents the largest investment made by his production company to date.

The cost of the rights is described as “beyond six figures” in euros, and grants exclusivity on the free-to-air segment of the market. This means that while Nani can stream the matches without charge, a pay-TV operator could still purchase the rights for subscription broadcasting in France.

Market Context

The opportunity arose after Canal+ declined to renew its Saudi Pro League broadcast agreement, leaving a gap in the French market. Other major broadcasters reportedly showed limited interest, opening the door for a non-traditional media figure to secure the rights.

Nani stated that he had previously reached out to foreign federations and leagues without receiving clear responses, but pursued this acquisition to realise a long-standing ambition to broadcast football legally on his platforms.

For the Saudi Pro League, the deal provides a direct connection to younger, digitally engaged French-speaking viewers at a time when the competition is looking to expand its global reach.
