LFP Media has reached a new broadcasting agreement with DAZN for the Spanish market, extending the distribution footprint of Ligue 1 McDonald’s through one of Europe’s largest sports streaming platforms.

Under the agreement, DAZN will broadcast the full Ligue 1 schedule exclusively in Spain, marking the first time since the 2017/18 season that Spanish audiences will have access to every match from the French top division.

Full Ligue 1 Coverage Returns to Spanish Market Ligue 1

The deal restores comprehensive Ligue 1 coverage in Spain after several seasons of fragmented visibility in the market. In addition to full match access, DAZN confirmed that at least two matches per round will include Spanish-language commentary.

Coverage begins with a high-profile fixture between RC Lens and Paris Saint-Germain, followed by a final matchday schedule featuring clubs including Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais.

The package also includes the growing Paris derby narrative between Paris FC and PSG, a storyline with increasing commercial and media value for the league.

International Reach and Platform Consolidation

The agreement continues Ligue 1’s broader international distribution strategy under LFP Media, with the league now available across 216 territories through 51 international partners.

DAZN already holds Ligue 1 rights in multiple international markets, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Japan. Expanding the partnership into Spain allows LFP Media to consolidate distribution through an established digital broadcaster with existing football audiences across Europe.
