Brentford FC has announced a partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to enhance digital connectivity and matchday operations at Gtech Community Stadium, following the successful deployment of HPE networking technology across the venue.

The infrastructure supports connectivity throughout the stadium's seating areas, concourses, hospitality facilities and surrounding perimeter, serving thousands of supporters, employees, stewards and operational staff during Premier League matches.

HPE Technology Supports Stadium Operations Brentford FC

The HPE networking platform supports several of Brentford's existing stadium systems, including digital ticketing, steward devices and health and safety processes.

Connected devices provide stewards with improved visibility as supporters enter the stadium, while network coverage across indoor and outdoor areas allows operational teams to remain connected throughout matchdays.

The infrastructure also supports connectivity in hospitality areas and other locations where reliable network access is required during events.

"We are always looking at how technology can improve the experience for our fans, and connectivity is an important part of that," said Fran Jones, Brentford's Commercial Director.

"HPE has given us a reliable foundation across Gtech Community Stadium that supports both our supporters and our teams."

Brentford Targets Further Digital Fan Engagement

The partnership also supports the club's digital services, including access to the official Brentford FC app, club content, interactive activities and competitions.

Brentford is exploring additional features related to supporter loyalty and engagement, although no specific new services or launch dates have been announced.

The technology provides the network infrastructure needed to support these services during matchdays, when large numbers of supporters and stadium personnel require simultaneous connectivity.

Mark Weeks, HPE Networking Sales Director for the UK and Ireland, said the company's work with Brentford demonstrates how stadium connectivity can support the introduction of additional digital services over time.

The agreement formalises a technology relationship built around infrastructure already deployed at Gtech Community Stadium, with further digital fan engagement initiatives under consideration.
