Arsenal FC has announced a multi-year partnership with Deel, the global payroll and human resources platform, naming the company its Official HR Platform Partner. The agreement marks Deel’s first major entry into global sport and reflects the company’s ambition to scale its brand and enterprise footprint through elite football.
Under the partnership, Deel branding will be visible across Emirates Stadium and Arsenal’s digital channels, including coverage of home fixtures in the Premier League, Women’s Super League, FA Cup and League Cup.
Technology Partnership Linked to Internal Operations
Beyond commercial visibility, the partnership includes operational integration. Arsenal will use Deel’s HR platform to manage elements of its workforce and internal operations, aligning with a broader trend of clubs partnering with enterprise technology providers that also become internal service suppliers.
Such agreements increasingly combine sponsorship rights with product usage, allowing technology companies to demonstrate their platforms within complex, global organisations such as top-tier football clubs.
Deel’s First Major Step into Global Sport Arsenal
For Deel, the partnership represents a strategic expansion into sport as a marketing and business development channel. Founded as a global payroll and compliance platform, the company supports more than 37,000 businesses and 1.5 million workers worldwide, positioning itself as a key infrastructure provider for distributed workforces.
In October 2025, Deel announced a Series E funding round valuing the company at $17.3 billion, underlining its scale and growth ambitions ahead of entering high-visibility sponsorship environments such as the Premier League.
