Arsenal FC has introduced a redesigned official club app called "The Arsenal", positioning the platform as a central hub for personalised content, matchday information, ticketing and digital fan engagement. The app provides supporters with a curated feed combining club news, video content and real-time matchday information across Arsenal’s men’s, women’s and academy teams.
Expanding Arsenal’s Digital Content and Media Strategy Arsenal
A core component of the new platform is original video programming designed specifically for the app environment. The club is launching several exclusive content formats, including documentary productions and entertainment-focused series involving first-team players and club personalities.
Among the programmes released at launch are:
• Modern Leader – The Martin Ødegaard Doc, a documentary examining the Arsenal captain’s leadership approach.
• Only In The Land, a four-part documentary chronicling Arsenal Women’s 2024/25 season.
• The Link Up – A Bukayo Saka Show, a lifestyle series connecting football with music and creative industries.
• The Big Match, a dating-style fan entertainment format filmed around matchdays at Emirates Stadium.
Additional productions are expected to follow, including new series featuring Declan Rice and youth-development focused content linked to the club’s women’s programme.
The strategy mirrors a growing trend in professional sport where clubs increasingly function as media producers, creating proprietary content to deepen fan engagement and expand global audiences.
Personalised Fan Experience and Matchday Integration
The app also introduces a personalised “For You” feed, allowing supporters to customise content based on their preferred teams, players and competitions. From an operational standpoint, the platform integrates multiple matchday functions, including live match centre coverage, real-time notifications, commentary, statistics and access to the club’s “Live from N5” broadcast produced at Emirates Stadium during home fixtures.
"The Arsenal" also incorporates digital ticketing capabilities, enabling supporters to purchase and manage match tickets directly within the application and scan entry passes at the stadium.
Commerce, Merchandise and Exclusive Experiences
Beyond content distribution, the platform functions as a commercial channel for Arsenal’s retail and fan-experience offerings. Supporters can browse merchandise collections through an integrated shop environment and participate in exclusive competitions, promotions and experiential activations available only through the app. These include access to behind-the-scenes experiences, product giveaways and matchday hospitality opportunities tied to Arsenal fixtures.
