Arsenal FC and KONAMI have announced the renewal of their multi-year partnership, extending a collaboration that has been in place for over eight years. The deal ensures KONAMI remains Arsenal’s Official Football Video Gaming Partner and keeps the club as a core presence within the eFootball™ series.

Continuation of In-Game Integration

Under the renewed agreement, Arsenal will continue to feature prominently in eFootball™, with:

  • Official club kits

  • Emirates Stadium

  • Authentic branding and imagery

  • Access to player likenesses for promotional purposes

The extension also provides KONAMI with ongoing commercial rights, including promotional access to Arsenal players and use of official club visuals in its gaming portfolio.

New Ambassador Activation Arsenal KONAMI

As part of the announcement, Martin Ødegaard, Arsenal’s men’s first-team captain, has been named a new Club Ambassador. Between 7–13 August, eFootball™ players can claim a free Highlight: Martin Ødegaard player card and avatar within the game.

Strategic Value for Both Brands

The long-term partnership reflects the sustained importance of football-gaming collaborations in building global fan engagement. Arsenal benefits from continued exposure to KONAMI’s gaming audience, while KONAMI strengthens its eFootball™ brand with official integration from a high-profile Premier League club.

Shinji Namekawa, European President of Konami Digital Entertainment B.V., stated:

“This extension demonstrates our commitment to evolving eFootball™ and maintaining strong ties with iconic football clubs.”

Juliet Slot, Arsenal’s Chief Commercial Officer, added:

“Our long-standing relationship with KONAMI is built on shared values of innovation and progress.”
