Al-Qadsiah Club has announced a new partnership with Ouden Roastery & Café, naming the Khobar-based specialty coffee company the club’s Official Coffee Partner. The agreement expands the club’s commercial network in Saudi Arabia’s growing consumer and lifestyle sector, and reflects the broader trend of professional clubs in the region collaborating with local premium brands as part of their hospitality and matchday experience strategies.

The deal includes supplying coffee services across matchdays, club events and internal operations — positioning Ouden as a fully integrated provider rather than a traditional logo-level sponsor.

A Local Premium Brand Integrated Into Club Operations

Founded in Al-Khobar, Ouden has grown into a recognised player in Saudi Arabia’s specialty coffee scene. The company handles sourcing, roasting, equipment and service delivery.

Under the new agreement, Ouden will:

• provide high-quality coffee across Al-Qadsiah’s matchday hospitality areas,

• support daily staff and guest services at the club’s facilities,

• participate in club events requiring premium beverage operations.

This operational integration differentiates the partnership from standard consumer-brand collaborations often limited to signage and promotional rights.

Strategic Fit Within Saudi Arabia’s Evolving Sports Economy Al-Qadsiah Ouden Roastery

For Al-Qadsiah, the partnership aligns with the increasing professionalisation of club hospitality and commercial operations across the Saudi football landscape. As clubs compete for matchday revenue, community positioning and commercial credibility, partnerships with premium domestic brands have become a key pillar.

CEO James Bisgrove highlighted alignment around quality standards and environment-building — consistent with the club’s effort to elevate internal and external stakeholder experience as part of its ongoing transformation.

For Ouden, entering the sports sector provides access to a fan community, hospitality audiences and expanded brand visibility as the club continues its upward trajectory under new leadership.

CEO Mishal Ahmed Al-Shammari framed the partnership within the context of Saudi Arabia’s broader economic modernisation and the empowerment of local enterprises.
